Terms & Conditions
Welcome to WildTours. Transparent guidelines for responsible wildlife safaris, booking protections, and guest privacy across Assam's protected sanctuaries.
Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, tour packages, wildlife safaris, travel-related services and communications with WildTours.
1 About WildTours
WildTours offers wildlife tours, safari experiences, nature excursions, destination-based travel packages and related travel services, primarily focused on Assam and its natural and cultural heritage.
Depending on the package, services may be provided directly by WildTours or arranged through third-party service providers, including accommodation providers, transport operators, guides and authorised safari operators.
2 Booking Confirmation and Payment
A booking will be considered confirmed only after WildTours receives an advance payment equal to 50% of the total package cost and confirms the booking.
The remaining 50% balance must be paid on or before the commencement of the trip, as communicated by WildTours.
- 2.3 Payments may be made through UPI, bank transfer or other payment methods authorised and communicated by WildTours.
- 2.4 Guests are responsible for ensuring that the payment details provided are accurate and that payments are completed within the specified deadlines.
- 2.5 If the balance payment is not received by the applicable deadline, WildTours reserves the right to cancel the booking. Refund eligibility, if any, will be determined in accordance with the cancellation policy below.
- 2.6 Any additional charges, exclusions, taxes or service fees applicable to a package will be communicated to the guest before confirmation, where applicable.
3 Cancellation and Refund Policy
Guests who wish to cancel a confirmed booking must notify WildTours in writing through the official contact channels. Refunds will be calculated according to the following schedule:
| Cancellation Period Before Arrival | Refund of Advance Payment |
|---|---|
| 30 days or more | 100% (less applicable transaction / processing charges) |
| 15–29 days | 50% Refund |
| Less than 15 days | No refund |
| No-show or early departure | No refund |
- 3.1 The cancellation period will be calculated based on the scheduled arrival date and the date WildTours receives the written cancellation request.
- 3.2 Any non-refundable charges imposed by third-party providers, where applicable, may be deducted from the refund if disclosed or otherwise lawfully chargeable.
- 3.3 Refunds will ordinarily be processed within 7–10 working days after cancellation and refund eligibility have been confirmed. Actual crediting time may depend on the payment provider or banking institution.
- 3.4 If WildTours cancels a tour due to unforeseen circumstances, such as natural calamities, park closures, government restrictions or operational reasons, guests will be offered either a full refund of the amount paid for the affected booking or a credit note for a future tour, as applicable and agreed with the guest.
- 3.5 Any credit note will be subject to the validity period and redemption conditions communicated when it is issued.
- 3.6 Refunds will be returned through the original payment method wherever reasonably possible. An alternative method may be used when necessary and mutually agreed upon.
4 Booking Modifications
- 4.1 Requests to change travel dates, itineraries, guest details, accommodation or other booking arrangements must be submitted in writing.
- 4.2 All modifications are subject to availability, provider approval and any applicable additional charges.
- 4.3 A requested modification may be treated as a cancellation and new booking if the original arrangements cannot be amended.
- 4.4 WildTours may modify routes, schedules, accommodation arrangements or activities when reasonably necessary because of weather, safety concerns, park restrictions, government instructions or operational circumstances.
- 4.5 Where practicable, guests will be informed of material changes and offered reasonable alternatives when available.
5 Guest Responsibilities
Guests agree to:
Safety & Compliance Notice: Guests agree to pay for damage to property, vehicles or equipment caused by their negligent, reckless or wilful actions, subject to applicable law. WildTours may refuse or discontinue participation in an activity where a guest's conduct creates a material safety risk or violates applicable rules. Any resulting refund will be determined by the circumstances, the applicable cancellation terms and the law.
6 Wildlife Sightings and Natural Conditions
6.1 Wildlife sightings are inherently unpredictable and depend on animal behaviour, season, weather, habitat conditions and other natural factors.
6.2 WildTours does not guarantee sightings of any particular animal, bird or other wildlife species unless a specific guarantee is expressly provided in writing.
6.3 The absence of a particular wildlife sighting does not, by itself, entitle a guest to a refund or compensation.
6.4 Safari routes, entry times and permitted activities may be determined by forest authorities and other authorised operators. WildTours cannot guarantee access to a specific route or zone.
7 Health, Safety and Travel Insurance
- 7.1 Guests should inform WildTours in advance of relevant medical conditions, mobility limitations, allergies or dietary requirements that may affect their participation or arrangements.
- 7.2 Guests are responsible for carrying necessary personal medication and obtaining appropriate medical advice before participating in outdoor activities where required.
- 7.3 Safaris, treks, boat trips and other outdoor activities may involve inherent risks associated with wildlife, terrain, weather and transportation.
- 7.4 Guests must follow all reasonable safety instructions and use required safety equipment.
- 7.5 Guests are strongly advised to obtain comprehensive travel insurance covering medical expenses, accidents, cancellations, interruptions and other relevant risks.
- 7.6 Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by applicable law.

9 Third-Party Services and Liability
- 9.1 Certain services may be delivered by independent third parties, including hotels, resorts, transport providers, safari operators and authorised guides.
- 9.2 The terms, availability and operational decisions of these providers may affect the delivery of a package.
- 9.3 WildTours will make reasonable efforts to coordinate booked services and assist guests in resolving service-related concerns.
- 9.4 WildTours will not be liable for independent third-party acts or omissions to the extent permitted by applicable law and where WildTours is not otherwise legally responsible.
