Arrive at Jorhat or Guwahati Airport/railway station and travel to Jorhat. Check in, relax and stay overnight in Jorhat.
Gibbon sanctuary & tea garden
Leave early for a guided forest walk at Hoollongapar Gibbon Sanctuary to look for the Western Hoolock Gibbon, capped langur and stump-tailed macaque. Return for lunch. In the afternoon, visit a tea estate for a garden walk, factory tour and tea tasting. Overnight in Jorhat.
Wetland birding & Nimati Ghat sunset
Enjoy a morning wetland birding session around Jorhat, with opportunities to see winter migrants. Return for a meal and some rest. In the afternoon, visit Nimati Ghat for time beside the Brahmaputra, with a short boat ride if conditions permit, and enjoy the sunset. Overnight in Jorhat.
